“Don’t argue with librarians!” shouted Stiles, along with the other patrons of O’Leary’s Bar and Grille. Across the table from him, Scott and Kira laughed and fist-bumped.
At the next booth was another team of three: a blonde in a push-up corset, a big taciturn brown-skinned man, and a gorgeous dark-haired guy with a body that didn’t know how to quit. Stiles gave them a neighborly grin; the blonde waved, her boyfriend nodded. The hottie gave them a judgmental look as the server brought them their round.
Stiles didn’t know eyebrows could be that unimpressed.

"It didn't surprise Stiles that Derek Hale had a beautiful girlfriend with waves of shiny honey-colored hair. It surprised him that she was so old. From a distance, Stiles would estimate that she was at least in her mid-twenties. And while Derek was, to Stiles's eye, very mature, he was still only sixteen. A junior in high school. It was illegal for an adult to grab a sixteen-year-old's ass like that. If he was right, Stiles had just witnessed a crime. Were she and Derek doing it? Because that was a felony. He needed to investigate and find out more.

So. Not stealing.
But there is nothing wrong with giving Chernysh all the pats and treats that he deserves, is there?
Nothing wrong with encouraging Chernysh to spend more and more time at Ilya's house until he doesn't even remember who Hollander is.
Because Hollander is stupid and boring and does not deserve a dog as good as Chernysh. No, he doesn't, does he? Because Chernysh is the best boy in the whole world, yes he is.
