Zane is hiding something from him, from all of them. Of course, Cole doesn’t ask the Nindroid what it is. He’d rather the man himself be comfortable enough to tell him about it without prodding. In the meantime, Cole tries not to freak out whenever he wakes up from one of his rare moments of sleep and finds that Zane isn’t beside him.

Summary
During their search for their Master, Cole follows a lead to a mage who could possibly give them information on where to look. However, facing her alone was a mistake, one he's forced to deal with when he ends up with a curse. The clock is ticking as a plant grows in his chest in response to his romantic feelings toward Zane.
Cole is desperate to find a solution, one that doesn't involve confessing his feelings or removing them completely. With the help of Pixal and some other friends from his past, they might be able to manage it.

Summary
When Aspheera banished Zane to the Never Realm Cole got hit in the crossfire of Zane's elemental power, cursing him with a frozen heart. Now on a time limit until his whole body freezes from the inside out, Cole has to find Zane in the Never Realm in the hopes that the nindroid will return his feelings and melt his frozen heart.
(A rewrite of season 11 part 2, taking inspiration from the frozen heart concept from Frozen)

“No. But the longer we stand here, the shorter time we have to escape”Zane can’t feel.
Well it’s not like he can't feel per se. His emotional capacity has been working accurately since he awoke in chains. His physical feeling is the current issue. The pressure and nerve sensors in his titanium body have been on the fritz since Clouse electrocuted him on Chen’s island.
It seems leaving your back wide open in a hostile environment is not the best idea.

Without any evil to fight and not even a lot of crime to deal with Cole feels a little too idle. This prompts a spontaneous trip to visit with his father, which might be just as quiet if Zane hadn't asked to come along.
Now is he not only reminded of a past crush he THOUGHT he forgot about, his father isn't helping in the slightest. Or perhaps, he's helping too much.
