Mustang didn't even look up. He splayed a fan of thick, cream-colored documents across the desk. The top folder was stark, the bold typeface centered on the sheet made Ed’s stomach do a slow, nauseous roll. It was simply titled: Operation Britain.

Summary
After graduating Hogwarts, Patrycja "Trisha" Morganagh changed her name to Trisha Elric and eloped to a different world with Van Hohenheim. Close to two decades later, Agnieszka Morganagh is all that remains of House Morganagh after the death of her husband and son. In an attempt to restore her family and stop her line from dying out, she performs an ancestral ritual, calling out for her daughter and her children in search of an heir.
A year after the Promised Day, Edward Elric leaves for Creta to pursue geological and anthopological research after the loss of his alchemy. One second, he's in the back of a cart in Eastern Creta, the next, he finds himself thrust into magical Scotland, face to face with a woman he only knows from pictures.
All of a sudden, Ed has to grapple with magic being real while faced with a life in a world he's never known. To strenghten his position, Ed endeavours to finish his magical education by enrolling into Durmstrang the year of the Triwizard Tournament. Meanwhile, another Wizarding War is brewing, and Ed finds himself thrust right into the middle of it when he stumbles upon a horcrux. And what's this about the Goblin Accords?

Summary
Immediately, Al shifts into his brother’s line of sight, leaning forward and reaching out a hand that Ed frantically latches onto. He’s trembling, sweat plastering his hair to his face, his eyes wide and searching as he grasps Al’s hand between both flesh and steel, hard enough that Al can see his knuckles turn white even in the dark room, illuminated only by the fragile moonbeams streaming in through the window.
“It’s okay, brother,” he says softly. “I’m here, I’m okay.” Ed is panting, his breaths tipping over each other as his gaze wavers, cracking, and Al repeats it over and over, watching the tension in his brother’s shoulders loosen just slightly with every iteration. In the corner of his vision, at the very edge of his helmet, he can see the moon slowly arc across the inky sky.
(Ed has a nightmare.)

Ed stretched, his one flesh arm knocking gently against Al’s head. Al had never really noticed how much his big brother searched for little touches when he himself couldn’t feel. But now he could and he realized he’d forgotten how much he also liked little physical contacts.
"I’mma take a nap," said his brother. "Good night, Al."
Al smiled, and he had forgotten how the muscles felt tightening around his cheeks, but maybe, just maybe, with his brother at his side, he could remember.
"Night."
