His fingers are buried in the blanket, twisting it, and the fabric is ripping under his nails unnoticed. He's almost straining his neck to reach Kyoujurou. Sitting up, looking at him—nervously. The meaning of his strange statement just now is lost on him.

    Is he trying to apologize? Very well, then. Kyoujurou sets his jaw and doesn’t say anything for long, long seconds.
