Luigi takes care of the little king while in his jail cell, cooking for him, getting him entertainment, talking about anything and everything. Completely solidifying why Bowser should give up on Peach and switch to another.

    Luigi agrees to a contract marriage to Bowser to keep the peace but only until he steps down, officially crowning Junior as his successor.
    Bowser's one rule was not to get attached, but like all rules they're the hardest to follow. While Luigi tired his best not to fall for the Koopa family, he breaks his own rules not to love them.
    After Junior is crowned and Bowser's retirement, Luigi finds it high time to give up his duties as Queen of the Darklands. This announcement knocks both Bowser and Junior off their kilter. Neither one saw that coming, Bowser especially since he was excited to finally turn more or his attention and affections towards his queen.

    Luigi falls into a green pipe, get's separated from Mario, finds Junior lost in a valcanic wasteland and takes the hatchling home. While this is happening, Junior imprints on Luigi and vice versa, when they finally reach the castle, Luigi is knocked unconscious and separated from Junior. He's later interrogated by the King himself, finding Luigi acceptable and decides it's best for all three of them to sleep together.
    Bowser ideally wonders if he'll imprint on the cute human too.

    “We’ll see how tough this Mario is…” continued his evilness.
    “Huh, Sire?” tried to cut in the magikoopa.
    “ When he watches me…”
    “Sire!”
    “kill his broth…”
    “Sire!!!!!” yelped Kamek, getting the King out of his monologue who pierced his murdering gaze onto the royal counselor.
    “What? Can’t you see that I’m….” Bowser yelled back until he heard cracking and tearing, turning his gaze to the human he just threw. “… Giving …..you…. an…..”
    The human was morphing right in front of them. His legs have fused into one long emerald giant snake tail, spines have sprouted out from his back and his tail, dragon-like emerald wings have sprung out of his back as well as side fins on his hips and tail.

    His torso while deprived now of clothes stayed humanly the same although his human ears got just a slightly bit pointy.

    They couldn’t believe it!
    Serpent-like tail, dragonesque wings and scales shimmering like gems.

    This human is part of the now extinct race of Melusians!
    They were back to bless the realm once more!

    As it would have it, the normal begin of the Super Mario movie but with a twist. While Luigi is being interrogated, and thrown, he crashes into a bucket of water. This normally wouldn't be an issue, unless you were hiding your true form like Luigi, who apparently was the last of his kind. Bowser is rocked back to "earth" at this revelation, but notices Luigi isn't defending himself, using his power or attacking. While inspecting Luigi's new form of a creature thought to be extinct, he comes to a crucial fact the smells of this creature covered in no magic but smoke covered in scares, must not have lived previously somewhere to spread it's wings nor use their powers.
    Well shit.
    Maybe Bowser can still use this to his advantage?
    Sending Luigi to Peach's plush room for starters and tomorrow, Bowser can try and backtrack and make Luigi an offer for good, instead of originally killing him.
