Summary
Determined, Lucifer opens the door and pushes his way inside the dark room.
Immediately, Alastor’s scent consumes him. Without the door to dilute it, the full scope of his partner’s predicament becomes quite clear to Lucifer.
He’s in heat. There’s no question of it. And not just at the start- no. He’s in the thick of it. A day or so along if the potency is anything to go by.
Lucifer can’t believe he didn’t realize sooner. But then- Alastor has never had a heat while Lucifer has known him. He’s never smelled this particular scent mingled with his Alastor’s own, never knew to pick it out amongst the many lingering scents in the hotel.
Or: In which Alastor goes into heat and thinks he has to face it all on his own. Spoiler- he doesn’t.

Seriously – it was bad enough that once humans came along he felt like he had to pick a gender, but then to have this dynamic foisted upon him as a consequence of his fall? As if he hadn't already been punished enough.
None of the Submissives Lilith brought home had ever sparked that same feeling in him that she seemed to experience, that possessive desire, the urge to have them. He figured maybe his dynamic was broken, just like the rest of him.
That was, of course – until he met Alastor.

Summary
Everyone loved to wax poetic about the so-called power and prowess of Alphas, but Alastor knew who truly held dominion over all. With the number of Alphas vastly outweighing that of Omegas, it was almost too easy. Especially with his heat so near. All he had to do was mark himself as available in the Alphas Seeking Omegas app, bat his eyes and stroke their egos (among other things), and they were falling over themselves to curry his favor.
How else could he afford such a nice apartment so close to his university otherwise!
All he had to do was let his instincts wash over him, and then he could just lie back and come out of his heat with a pleasant, lingering ache between his thighs. In addition to a few absurdly expensive courting gifts (most of which he sold) and a spike in his bank account balance.

Summary
Please, keep in mind that the rating has changed (from M to E) due to the last chapter!
He has always despised that idiotic frenzy that seemed to regularly pollute every little part of the Pride Ring, making it disgustingly and sickeningly sweet, with pink color literally everywhere and hundreds of hearts adorning every shop window along the flower and chocolate stands on every corner of Hell.
When one day, during his usual on-air letter reading taking place by the end of his radio broadcast, he receives a mysterious, elegant envelope addressed directly to him, it immediately piques his interest, standing out from the ocean of many other, less than appropriate ones to say the least.
He didn’t consider, though, how much impact it would have on his sanity before he decides to open and read the note.
Or, Alastor thinks he has it all figured out, trying to prove to everyone (himself included) that he doesn't care for poetry or this idiotic holiday called Valentine's Day until he acquires a secret admirer who very much shakes all of his convictions to the core.
This fic was written for the radioapple Valentine's Week 2025 in a form of one story, containing the event's prompts.
