Unfortunately, this was one of the irritatingly frequent times where Drew didn’t get her way. Instead, she was driving through a torrential downpour at 10:00 at night on a Thursday, hungry and ticked off. And now she was stuck at a red light that seemed like it was programmed to last forever while she let all zero of the other cars on the road take their well-deserved turn.
She scowled out the window at the empty street when she noticed a bus shelter at the corner. More specifically, there was someone sitting on the bench, fruitlessly huddled against the rain, which Drew thought was odd, seeing as the city buses quit running at 9:30 on weekdays. She squinted a little harder at the uncomfortably small form for a moment before she felt a rock solidify in her gut. She knew those curls and chicken limbs from all the times Piper had insisted on her “very best friend in the whole world” spending the night at their house. Drew knew, without a doubt, that she was staring at the one and only Leo Valdez.

Drew sees Leo out late in a thunderstorm. She makes a choice that means more than either of them will admit.

Summary
Leo Valdez always knew that his life wasn't normal. He knew he had powers ever since the age of five. He had lost his mother because of said powers ever since he was eight because apparently an earth witch thought he was a threat to her schemes, whatever they were. When he wasn't stuck at a foster home he was hunted by monsters in the streets who apparently thought he was a really yummy snack despite him being skin and bones. And something had been stuck inside his mind ever since August, giving both friendly advice, sassy backchat, and the occasional save.
So yeah, you could say his life was freaking peachy. The cherry on top is when a field trip to the Grand Canyon Skywalk is crashed by a dangerous woman with a knife, a super-amnesiac that can fly, and several hot storm angel dudes (one being the local bully), not exactly in that order. Before he knows it, he's drafted into participating in a quest to save Hera, Queen of the Gods and his nanny/trainer/divine grandmother.
Because of course his life didn't want to stay normal. At least hopefully he'll get something out of this, right?

"Let's start making it happen." As soon as those words fell out of Schlatt's mouth, a bright light nearly blinded everyone as well as the sound of a portal's unnatural hum.
When the light died down and everyone got their vision back, a portal, structured like a Nether Portal but built out of metal and stone, glowing silver, stood right between and before the stage and the audience. They were stunned as a figure came out of said portal, tall, decked out in full enchanted netherite. A man with a familiar mask but unfamiliar clothes stood.
"Where's Dream?" The man with the red hood, wearing Dream's mask immediately asked.
Before anyone could even react or answer, the portal behind him flared brightly and the man jumped away with an annoyed grunt as another man decked in netherite tumbled out of the silver glowing portal. Wild dark hair, dark blue eyes, burnt scars underneath his chin-
"Tubbo?" Tommy muttered in surprise, somehow recognizing him as his best friend.
"Tommy!" The older Tubbo screamed, but not at Tommy who stood beside Wilbur. But at the masked man with the red hood.
Two broken men stay in the past in hopes of a better future.

It's been weeks since Cole has been able to touch Lloyd, or stand in his line of sight, and he's sick of watching his brother suffer and being unable to help. So when Lloyd comes to him asking to be possessed... well, it's a TERRIBLE idea, but if Lloyd thinks it'll be good for him, then Cole might just be desperate enough to do it.

It’d be nice if Kurusu would start acting like it.
