Welcome to fantasy Cybertron, where the mechs are techno-organic, and have evolved alongside many species including Unicorns, Harpies and (most recently) Humans. Unfortunately, mech-formed Cybertronians aren't immune to greed or misguided beliefs in folk remedies that require the body parts of their fellow sapients. This causes no small amount of friction between mechs and "fantasy" races, and daily life is often a fight for survival.
But within the struggle for survival, there are bright spots. Like a pair of Unicorn forest guardians, their adopted mechling, and a doctor from the city who offers care for all.

Or; after a messy breakup with Breakdown, Bumblebee searches out Swindle with one goal in mind—paying the Con to be his fake boyfriend to hopefully make Breakdown jealous enough to come crawling back to him.
Neither of the two expect to gain feelings for one another, but you know what say, the best laid plans of glitch mice and mechs...
