Summary
After Tim tries to save Batman from himself as he's self-destructing in his grief, Tim is severely injured (to the point of permanent injury). Now Tim is deciding that he will have to become something else to save Batman and Gotham. To honor his hero Robin (the deceased Jason), Tim will become a shadowy figure who builds a team of misfit heroes to combat Gotham's darkness and Batman's grief.
When Red Hood debuts in Gotham, there will be some confusion on Hood's part. Who are the Guards? Why do they not get along with Batman? What is going on? But once he meets them and their leader, he makes a lot of realizations as he grows closer to Sentry and his people.- Language:

“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”
“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”
“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.
“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”
“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”
“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”
“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”
Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.

Summary
The Guardian has been exemplary example of the strength of the Light. For five years, she has trained and honed her skills until her next mission sends her into The Black Garden. They lost. The Witness had succeeded in rewriting the galaxy even if Young Wolf had succeeded in making sure the Witness would never live to see it. In a last ditch effort, Young Wolf bargains with the Gardener to get another chance. To travel back in time, to fix everything. Only he would wake up in a broken down car way before the City was even a thought, and this time there's a baby Whim that he needs to care for. A second chance was a second chance, no matter how strange.
