Summary
Zoro’s used to being the one people rely on in a fight. A tool. A shield. A sword (or three). No one’s ever accused him of being intelligent—or even having common sense. Then he met Luffy—and the rest of them—and somehow, he thought he’d found something different. People who saw him as something other than an idiot. Something other than a weapon.
But between getting lost, missing things everyone else seems to just get, and saying the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time, it’s not hard to start hearing the same old story again—from the very people he opened himself up to: he’s stupid, and he’s only good with a sword.
And if that’s how the Straw Hats see him… then maybe that’s all he is.
The problem is, the Straw Hats don’t realize what they’re reinforcing.
And by the time they do, Zoro’s already running himself into the ground trying to be useful enough to keep.
Now they just have to figure out how to fix something they didn’t even know they broke—before he breaks himself for good.

Summary
After the tragedy of Marineford, the world knew that Monkey D. Luffy was miraculously saved by a rival crew from the Worst Generation.
And officially?
It’s the sole story the world would ever know.
What the world didn’t know was that Luffy’s heart gave out. Even with Law’s rich medical knowledge and the help of Ope Ope no Mi, it was a wonder they’ve managed to bring him back to life.
After all, not even the power of a devil fruit can save someone who lost the will to live.
OR
The story in which Luffy met five (dead) people who'll remind him of what he still have.
“Take me to them!” Luffy demanded, screaming at the other’s face. “This is supposed to be hell, heaven or whatsoever, right?! Then bring me to them! Take me to my brothers--”“--I can’t.” He shook his head ruefully before he looked at Luffy straight in the eye. “I can’t bring you to your brother, Luffy... at least, not yet.” The Rubber Man looked at him in bewilderment, “Because the thing is… You’re not supposed to be dead.”

Summary
“What was he like when you were younger?” Jinbe asks, looking strangely intent as he stares at Ace. Ace stares back at him for a moment, before leaning his head back against the cell wall and smiling. Memories of him, Luffy, and Sabo running through the forest flash before his eyes, and nostalgia fills him. The months that the three of them spent together are Ace’s most treasured memories.
He grins, shaking his head and chuckling as he says, “Well, I guess if I’m going to talk about him as a kid, I should talk about my twin first.”
(Or: Ace calls Sabo his twin while in Impel Down and consequences happen.)

"I'd go to the Grand Line to finally kill myself then."
A beat of silence passed as Law kept his foot on the lid. The group blinked once, then twice, before they all shouted in unison with their eyes bugging out of their sockets.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!"
---
Or, Trafalgar Law never became a pirate. Instead, he's just a depressed, unmotivated, suicidal maniac who wants nothing more than to die a miserable death. Revenge? Who gives a shit. Pirates? Whatever. The Marines? They can go to hell. He doesn't care, not anymore.
Enter Luffy and his ragtag of misfits.

Summary
"My name-" there was the sound of marker squeaking across a white board- "is Trafalgar Law. If you have any complaints about my lack of hand-holding and less-than-professional language, feel free to take it up with Dr. Robin, though I can assure you she will not care."
A low murmur simmered through the room and a girl in the row in front of Luffy began to whisper to her friend.
"He's going to be a doctor? With all of those?"
Luffy finally pulled his head off the table to figure out what the heck they were talking about.
Standing tall at the front of the room and glaring down at a set of notes in his hand, stood their graduate instructor for the semester.
He was also, by far, the hottest man Luffy had ever seen outside of a magazine.
-----------------
Luffy's just trying to get through A&P1 for his Kinesiology degree when he gets thrown a massive curveball in the form of his graduate TA- Trafalgar Law. Luffy was already dreading this stupid class. Why did it also have to be taught by the Hottest Man Alive, too? Now he has to try to pass AND keep his inconvenient feelings a secret... from everyone.- Language:
