Summary
Kakashi unknowingly stops his father from committing suicide when he returns from the academy early. The small 4 year old had returned because some of the kids had been mean to him- Everyone had heard by now that Hatake Sakumo was a disgrace to the village. Before Sakumo could plunge his tanto into his own stomach, he heard the door open and then close and the small whimpers Kakashi only let out whenever he was crying. The boy rarely cried after his mother left.
OR
Sakumo feels too guilty for trying to leave his son and rethinks things.

“What else do you like to eat?” Tobirama asked, leaning back against the cabin wall.
“Why do you ask?” Izuna shot him a curious side‑glance as he lifted the eggs from the water.
Tobirama hummed, thoughtful.
“I’m going to write a scroll,” he said with grave seriousness, “on how to take down the Uchiha dynasty using their odd food habits.”
It took Izuna a heartbeat to realize the Senju had cracked a joke.
