He remembered, too, how he'd been fully prepared to dump her by the side of the road when he found her in his trailer, wash his hands of her—until he wasn't. Three months later, he still wasn't ready to wash his hands of her. Maybe he never would."
Logan comes home to the mansion one night to find Rogue sleeping in his room. A conversation about Alaska ensues, and Logan finds there's more to Rogue's ordeal as a runaway than meets the eye. Canon divergence following X-Men (2000), in which the events of X2 do not yet happen and Logan spends more time at the mansion.
