But something about Loki—maybe the soft pajamas, his messy hair, his bare feet on the cold floor, or the limp he’s trying to hide as he crosses the kitchen to get himself a glass of wine—makes Tony want to figure this out on his own first.

Getting kidnapped and getting a worm put inside her brain with the threat of turning into a mindflayer was just par for the course for her now, really. But even as she fights to live another day and the world she had gotten to know descends into chaos, she wonders if she'll ever find the happiness she craves.
