Summary
Aerion had lived a comfortable existence at Summerhall after the trial of seven. In the days, he did as he pleased, and at night, he had Ser Duncan in his bed. But after Valarr interferes, Aerion finds his punishment is no longer exile to Lys, but to live with Ser Duncan and his brother Aegon as a hedge knight.
It is no life for a dragon, and certainly no life for Aerion. As time goes on, he and Dunk find themselves unable to ignore the growing realization that their relationship might be more than physical.
But where does that leave Egg?

Summary
A hedge knight strikes a prince of the blood before half the realm and expects death for it.
Prince Aerion Targaryen has other plans.
Ser Duncan of Flea Bottom is taken into the prince’s household, not as mercy, but as a controlled asset: too dangerous to release, too useful to kill. Aerion is cruel, brilliant, and marked by a rare Targaryen gift the Faith would call an abomination.

"Apologies, Lord Lannister," Ser Duncan says, his voice steady, tone stern. Aerion has to, embarrassingly enough, go on his tiptoes to catch a look at his profile, and his face seems confident, not at all intimidated by the annoyed gaze Lannister throws him. "Prince Maekar was very clear that no one was to touch Prince Aerion without his explicit consent."
Lord Lannister makes a complicated face, as if he can't quite understand the words out of Ser Duncan's mouth. "Pardon me? No, Prince Maekar wants his son wed within the year. All of the Seven Kingdoms has heard it by now. If he expects no one to touch him, he might as well lock him in his chambers and lose the key!"
Aerion steps forward as white-hot anger flashes in his veins; he moves, intending to beat this puny little lord's insolence to a bloody pulp, but Ser Duncan throws an arm out and forcibly shoves Aerion back behind him, a warning growl on his lips.
Lord Lannister freezes. Aerion freezes. Ser Duncan stays relaxed.

Aerion's bright, furious eyes stared daggers at Dunk, a promise of unending pain and suffering already taking hold as his lips opened to, no doubt, spew words so despicable Dunk was about to lash out in a new wave of fury without even hearing them.
But then, as the Prince approached him with all the wrath and madness of the beast on his banners, he suddenly stopped in his tracks; It took but a second for it to hit Dunk; that scent, the Prince's scent, strong and alluring and captivating and powerful like he had never felt before. Dunk's breath caught in his throat, eyes fluttering shut for a long second as he breathed it in, breathed Aerion Targaryen in; at once, his body failed, knees buckling, the Kingsguards cursing at the sudden unsupported weight.He was an omega.

“Kill you? No, oaf, I don’t mean to kill you. I mean to use you, and if you do a good enough job of keeping still like a good boy, then maybe I’ll let you go with one or two limbs intact. After, you know…” He tilted his head again, eyes settling on a predatory, ravening look. “After you quench this fire you have foolishly, mindlessly ignited. You've woken the Dragon, Ser Duncan, and now you will do your job and calm him back down.”
