After making what felt like every bad decision, consequences hitting from every angle, all ultimately leading to the loss of the astral pulse, he had to face the facts. He wasn't worthy of anything. Summary
Ryland Grace has returned to Earth and is now a mental health patient at St Mary's Medical Center. When a mysterious transfer arrives who believes they're on a space station and that all the stars have dissapeared Ryland's life is turned upside down.
Simon hears voices and sees shadows. When the COI starts bringing him to group therapy sessions he can't believe what is happening to him. A nerdy blonde haired scientist might just convince him that the world is not what it seems.
What starts as a tumultuous relationship quickly shifts into something more as the two men realize that maybe all they need in order to figure out what's real is each other.

Summary
A series of short fics exploring Grace and Rocky's friendship, among other things. (Each chapter is its own story; I just wanted to have them all in one place.)
Chapter 1: Rocky thinks humans are equally disgusting and cute. Somehow, through it all, Grace reminds him of home.
Chapter 2: Rocky can pick Grace up easily, and Rocky thinks it is very funny. Rocky and Grace tease each other.
Chapter 3: Eridians bring Grace their babies for him to see, and Grace learns about Eridian culture/religion. Grace is also bad at taking compliments.
Chapter 4: Rocky makes Grace celebration jewelry. Later, Grace gets a similar gift from Adrian.
Chapter 5: Grace and Rocky tease each other, and Rocky is introduced to the idea of throwing things at your friends. He decides that humans are odd, but maybe aren't all that bad.
Chapter 6: Grace tries to convince Rocky to swim, but Eridians don’t typically like deep water because they are heavy and will sink/drown. Grace learns about some Eridian mythology.
Chapter 7: Grace talks about the lack of support teachers have on Earth. Rocky is confused by this.[This has a limit, so new chapters will have their description at the beginning of the chapter instead]

My pride stings a little at being so underestimated by a species that couldn’t even outrun a particularly determined turtle if their life depended on it. Look, I’m no Sha’Carri Richardson, but I’m pretty proud of my seven-minute mile. I worked hard for it. I haven’t been able to handle myself like this since I was... well, since I left Earth.
“Y’know what? Let’s settle this once and for all. I could use an endurance test anyway. Good for my cardio.”
Dr. Bones perks up. “You’ll do a demonstration?”
“Absolutely. Give me two rest days and a warmup, then I’ll show you what the average human athlete can do.”

AKA, Grace doesn't consider himself much of an athlete, but he's no slouch either. And he's got the physical prowess of his whole species to represent!
The xenobiology team, on the other hand, is horrified to learn what a 'persistence hunter' is.

“Nice work today, fall guy!”
As he passed, Tom leant down and smacked the guy's ass hard enough to make him stumble, grinning to himself at his own endless skill to get on Colt’s nerves. He ducked around Colt and made to keep on walking, expecting the typical grumble and snarky comment from behind him.
Except there wasn’t a grumble, though - instead, Colt Seavers fucking squeaked.
Or - Tom Ryder doesn't know Colt has a twin.
