Summary
When something goes wrong during the Promised day, Edward Elric is turned into a philosophers stone and sent to meet truth. he has a choice- do this favor for Truth, and in return, restore everyone's bodies- or return to Amestris as is.
Edward didn't expect to be stuck in a new world for 300 years, on the hunt for a man that keeps evading him. he also didn't expect to become a teacher, or get attached to a whole class of insanely rowdy kids.

Summary
"We were so worried, we heard you—" Ragatha starts, and then looks up. She meets Jax's gaze dead-on, and goes silent. Tears brim in the corner of her eye. Her hand flies up to cover her mouth. He can't tell if the look on her face is relief or fear.
Gangle's staring at him like she's seen a ghost. Pomni slowly raises to her feet, brows furrowed. She winces as every movement jars her wavering form.
Cowered on the floor, panting, confused and disoriented, with everyone standing above him, taller than him… it reminds Jax of something deeply unpleasant. They're all staring at him. They're all seeing him.
Jax knows they're not going to like what they see.
His breath quickens until his head is spinning, and he feels like he's going to vomit. He forces himself upwards with a frustrated cry, swaying in place, and then turns and bolts towards his room as fast as he can.
"NO!" Pomni screams.
(or: pomni pulls jax back from the brink.)

Everyone went dead silent. Pomni had half the mind to check if the room was dim enough or if Kinger went insane again.
"And I know this sounds insane, but we could potentially still get back into our bodies, if our memories merge well enough."
In all the chaos his words brought upon the group, everyone was occupied with their own thoughts, but Pomni managed to catch the absolutely panicked look on Jax's face.

In which the group has found a way out, and yet one of them is avoidant of it. But why would he fear it? All they need is to be still alive in the real world.
