Cellbit held his breath as the scientist suddenly paused. The man’s head tilted slightly, as if sensing he was being watched. But he didn’t turn around. Instead, he reached for a syringe filled with a shimmering liquid and injected it into the petri dish. The reaction was immediate: a soft sizzle, then a puff of pale green smoke that dissipated into a ventilation grate above.

This world is no longer a good place, it is hell. The mutations have ended with enough people and species. Surviving this world is hard. It's always good to stick together with trustworthy people.
But if that safe place ends? You need to search for another.
But it is hard to find that place. Quackity and Roier had been a year apart from people, only them, together. And just when they thought they were going to be just the two of them, they found The North.
Joining is hard. At least for hybrids.

Q!Quackity zmaga się ze śmiercią Q!Multiego. Jest to dla niego dotkliwie ciężki moment, przeżywa jego odejście. Nie potarfi się z faketm pogodzić, przez co jego myśli krążą wokół swojego "przyjaciela". Postanawia się udać na nocny spacer, by choć na chwilę uciec od swoich gorzkich myśli.
