“I heard you’re a big fan of seizing the day.”
Jaehyun said it like he wasn’t internally combusting. His tone was casual, or at least trying to be—somewhere between confident and terrified.
Sungho looked up from his phone, brow lifting slightly in amusement. For a brief second, Jaehyun thought he might’ve made a complete fool of himself. But then Sungho smiled—slow, warm, a little amused. The kind of smile that said yeah, I remember you, and you’re still kind of ridiculous.
“Yeah,” Sungho replied, slipping his phone into his pocket. “Maybe I am. Still trying to, anyway.”
Jaehyun laughed awkwardly. “Right. Carpe diem and all that.”
or
Jaehyun was supposed to hangout with Taesan in the moon river bar because Taesan had an earlier shift, but he saw his highschool crush.

Summary
Jaehyun and Sungho have been stuck by each other’s side for years. Best friends, soulmates, some other word that doesn’t exist because no word in the lexicon is enough to describe their bond. So there’s no way that romantic feelings would surface and ruin everything, right?
Or: The unthinkable scenario where you realize you have fallen in love with your best friend, and what comes after.

“I’m serious, y’know,” Jaehyun muttered as he settled into Sungho’s neck, “You mean too much to me, to the group. I love you too much to let you go that easily.”
Then, as if his words didn’t just light a fuse in Sungho’s aching chest and burning heart, Jaehyun mumbled out a small, “Goodnight Park Sungho, congrats on our debut,” and drifted off to sleep.
(Or: Five times Jaehyun tells Sungho "I love you," and one time Sungho says it back.)

“Is something wrong?” Sungho asked when their eyes met, unsure. “Am I too feminine-looking right now?”
Jaehyun smiled before shaking his head. “Not at all. I like the way you are now just as much as when you’re wearing sweatpants and hoodies, but I’d like to focus on you tonight rather than me.”
For some reason, that last sentence made Sungho’s cheeks burn instantly. He lowered his head, but Jaehyun promptly placed a finger on his chin to raise it again.
“Can I do that?” Jaehyun then asked, his voice lingering and tone slow.
Or: After a long day at work, Jaehyun comes home to an unexpected, yet intriguing sight. A shower of love towards his husband ensues.
