Summary
A few weeks after stabilizing the Circus and coming to terms with their permanent life there, the gang agrees to bring Caine back- on the condition that Kinger rewrites his code and removes his power over the world.
Caine awakens to find himself on relatively equal footing with humans for the first time in his life. Can he learn to listen and understand them now that he's no longer bound to his program's original purpose? Will the humans ever be able to truly forgive him for everything he's done to them? Can anything truly change?
Featuring Caine trying human things, found family bonding, and a healthy dose of angst while everyone processes their various traumas and learns to accept this new world they're making together. Or tries to, anyway.

Summary
Pomni has never been a fan of Caine. He's loud, overbearing, oblivious to the pain his torturous adventures caused, and the overall cause of Pomni's pain and suffering in the virtual world. Only four adventures in, and she has enough trauma to last a lifetime.
Caine is an AI, after all. Pomni doesn't think he even cares about anything other than his adventures.
And that made it all the more shocking that when an escaped Abstraction attempts to attack Pomni, she finds herself being pushed out of the way by the dreaded ringmaster himself, taking the hit for her as he tells her to run.
She soon realizes that there's more to Caine than she thought.

“Caine?” Pomni asked again. The orb drifted up and down in a nod. “How do I know it’s you? Why do you look so…” Small, weird, different. She’d been anticipating seeing a Caine clawing at the walls, or crying, or yelling. How ever she imagined finding Caine, he looked like, well, Caine. Not this.

The plan was simple: undelete Caine, get the Circus back up and running, and place some restrictions so Caine couldn't mess with them.
Unfortunately, Caine and the Circus are a little more complicated than meets the eye.

Look, when a story gets me to binge read it in one night, I gotta bookmark it. It's due diligence.
Anyways, I will be watching this story with casual enthusiasm. I have a guess what the [ OOO ] symbol means but. Actual meaning TBD, given that it's
Caine's definitions and not human-expected ones. (I also woulda expected 🌲 to be "Environment", but again- Caine's focus is not what I would expect!)(HOLY CRAP THAT WORKED- ok click that triangle for my thoughts, but it's spoilers for the outside reader.)

Probably something like "connection", "access", or "input", though who knows what Caine would actually call it? It looks suspiciously close to the input dots from the flashback sequences to Caine's training days, and while most early use-cases are associated with computers, ALL of them have something to do with other people. I really need to note the context for each use-case...
