But honestly, when someone like Lila comes along, Chloé decides that the enemy of my enemy is my ally has its uses and she calls out everyone in the class who turned on Marinette. It's just a pity that now she has to get her hands dirty, since the real Ladybug is out of commission. But hey, at least she looks damn stylish while doing so.

There was a new student in class. One Isabelle Verity. A girl with black hair in pigtails, blue eyes, a habit of wearing red, and supposedly Lila’s long-time bestie.
Given Lila’s previous lies, the class immediately latched onto the idea that Isabelle was Ladybug. And as Isabelle only gave them a cheeky ‘Ladybug has her secret identity to uphold’, they went full force.
Adrien knew that Isabelle wasn’t really Ladybug. While he could be an idiot sometimes, he knew two things. The first, is that Lila is a liar, and Ladybug wasn’t her ‘bestie’. The second, is that Ladybug would never tell anyone her secret identity.

Awesome setup, loved the story. LB truly alone but goes on hiatus when Marinette is falsely convicted of Lilas crimes and no one, including Chat, defends her as she winds up in Arkam. Excellent assessment of Marinette s people pleasing personality and how that's unhealthy.
