He always made it a point to eat the players last, in some twisted way he enjoyed them. He didn't care about them, he had to make that clear. But he liked the company they brought. The smiles, the laughter, the questions both brilliant and dumb that would be asked. They were funny little creatures, so trusting. He liked them enough not to immediately pounce.
Verity would keep the facade of helpfulness and a bright attitude, until they started noticing the villagers going missing. Until there was no one left, but them. When they began to question him, when they started to pull away, that was when he’d strike.
He was still waiting for this one to pull away.
Or
A recounting of how Verity and Mob met, and how their relationship forms. Verity is waiting for the moment Mob runs away, waiting to finally feast, only to see that the other... hasn't. And with that, Verity begins to look at him in a new light, which can mean nothing good for Mob.

John jolted at the noise, remembering that he had been slammed into the ground a minute ago after the same noise. He whipped around, crouching and summoning a short wall of spikes.
Thankfully, he was quick enough before the beast lunged right at them from the darkness. It slammed face-first into the spikes, falling back with a pained roar, flailing on the ground for a moment.
“H0ly sh1t D0e, y0u snip3d it!” Noli exclaimed with a large grin, turning to John.
“Yeah, yeah, we need to go!” John huffed in response, turning around and hopping off the platform.

Or; Upon the creation of the realm of Forsaken, The Spectre's code got copied and corrupted into a separate realm, Swapsaken. All that enters Forsaken, in future or present, gets a copy into The Actuality's realm. Things stay relatively normal for a good while, until a glitch in the code starts swapping the positions of killers and survivors from the two realms.
This is my first fic posted in years, so my writing may not be the best in the beginning! It's also not going to be beta read because I have no friends who know I have any interest in writing fics.

He must find 007n7 who 11 years ago separated himself from the GUI to escape confinement and live a normal life. Elliot realizes he's going to have to act as a mediator between the two as one still acts as a fiery reckless teen while the other is a semi sensible adult who had grown incredibly weaker and frail after having to separate the GUI from himself.
