“ “So he returns,” Chris’ voice echoes ominously across the dark hallway, freezing Leon in his tired stride. It’s well-past midnight, likely easing it’s way into the wee hours of the morning. Wafts of rage and worry call to him from the darkness.
“I was wondering when you were going to make an appearance,” Leon says with a sigh, turning to face the hulking silhouette of the other alpha where he rests against the sterile white wall.
Chris stands amidst the shadows, his arms crossed over his broad chest, his brow furrowed and his dark eyes alight with anger. At Leon’s words, his nostrils flare and Leon can almost imagine the steam pouring from his ears. His scent pours forth from his body like a forest fire. He’s beyond pissed.
“Oh, were you?” Chris laughs and it’s dark, “Wonder why.” “

Summary
They’d met so many times over the years, drifting in and out of each other’s lives like the moon and the sun, only sometimes destined to be in the same sky together. There had always been some inescapable pull towards the other man; at times Leon felt as though he were slowly orbiting closer and closer, drawn in nearer on each rotation.

Summary
The world outside was harsh. The world outside was brutal. Loss, grief, death, trauma. But in their quiet inside world, the life that took place in a quiet house on a quiet street, Leon and Chris were able to find a sense of normalcy, carved out with aching care and protected fiercely. It could have been easy to lose, but both had lost too much to risk letting the other man slip through their fingers. After the proposal however came one of their most difficult challenges. Paperwork.
Embarking on what should be their easiest mission yet (getting married), Leon and Chris discover the dangers of navigating HR employees for the B.S.A.A. and D.S.O, the wiles of wedding planners who also happen to be your sister and her wife, the exhaustive list of wedding to-dos, and finally, the chaos of attempting to plan said wedding while in the midst of fighting zombies.

Leon drags his gaze up to him, working his jaw. “I didn't want to—I mean, I had plans—I wanted to do this some other way, some other place, some other time, but fuck it. Fuck it,” he repeats and he digs his hand into his pocket and pulls it back out and flicks something small and shiny at Chris, who utterly and entirely fails to catch it.
