Klao was angry…
“What the hell are you plotting?!”
Until he wasn’t.
Because when Klao raised his face to confront Yotha, to exchange punches until his fingers bled and he could finally feel good about himself again, he saw him.
Gun.
Suddenly it was as if all the hatred Klao felt had vanished in a flash, as if water had been thrown on his wildfire, leaving only the remnants of the destruction that had occurred moments before.
The world that had previously seemed to be rushing in a direction he had no idea how to follow seemed to have stopped for him again, and then it was as if Klao was falling off a precipice he had distanced himself from years before, a precipice he hadn’t even realized he was so close to the edge again.
