Summary
The Warrior of Light studied the dragon before him. He didn’t look like any other dragon he knew. He was sleek, all black, with barely any spikes. He wore a saddle. His tail ended in a pair of fins. One of them was black like the rest of the dragon, and the other appeared artificial, painted red with a white skull design. He had large, green, and very expressive eyes. And... no teeth?
***
The Warrior of Light falls through a portal that takes him to the world of How to Train Your Dragon, a few weeks before the events of the second movie. How does his presence change things?

Summary
“He’s my Uncle!” Miles couldn’t believe he’d said it.
Peter couldn’t believe he’d said it.
Neither could his parents.
Which, uhhh, was a problem since Peter was stuck living in this dimension for the time being and Miles would really like for him to be able to be his mentor still.
Peter lies through his teeth. “I’m Aaron’s husband!”
And keeps lying.
Which would be fine because the only other person in this secret marriage was dead, except for the small issue that that wasn’t exactly true.
And now they’ve got a bit of a situation.

Summary
“Before we left Amh Araeng, I saw—” Alisaie clears her throat, suddenly self-conscious, aware that her tale sounds ridiculous. “I thought I saw someone who looked like you. Only her eyes were…” Alisaie closes her eyes, picturing them. “Like the blackest night I’ve ever seen.”

Or: Alisaie, meet Fray.

Summary
Though the woman known as the Warrior of Light is still injured from her battle to save the star, she's grown dreadfully bored with bedrest.
So when a little excursion at her friends' behest reveals some hidden truths about her past, she jumps at the chance to learn more — and does her best to ignore how all this makes her feel. Because nobody else should have to carry the burden she does. That's what she's for.
(The Warrior of Light sacrifices everything, even her own well-being and comfort, for the people around her. I thought that was interesting, so I wrote a story where that character trait is a maladaptive coping mechanism that drives her to hide practically everything about herself, despite everyone around her really wishing she'd open up to them.)
