He’s dreaming, he has to be. He fell asleep on the couch, right? Did he eat chocolate before bed again? That always gave him vivid dreams he could never differentiate from reality.
On screen Rebecca continues, “So, if I can’t have the Teddy that I want, I’ll have fun with the teddy that I have.”

“Thanks for seeing what I needed,” he says simply. She thinks to heartfelt text messages in a hotel bar, thinks to freshly-baked homemade biscuits, and little green Army men and bites back the thought that she'll always see him. Neither one of them ready for that conversation. Instead, she hands him a snowman-shaped biscuit, lets their fingers brush, and doesn’t say anything at all. Not that is matters. She’s fairly certain he still hears her.
