Summary
A Digestivo fix-it fic. Instead of escaping from the Vergers' farm to Will's house, Hannibal goes the opposite direction and takes them into the woods. Will wakes up to find them on the run, while they try to survive and restore their broken relationship.
“Do you want a confession of guilt? That I injured you and enjoyed it? That seeing your face permanently marked will give me pleasure?” Hannibal looked back at him, eyes soft. As vulnerable as he’d been in sleep. “Would that satisfy you?”
Will thought for a long moment, not dropping his eye contact. Finally he asked, in a measured tone, “If not for pleasure, why do it?”
“The line between pleasure and suffering is a razor’s edge. Falling to one side or the other can be more a matter of chance than of choice.”

Summary
Sometimes they have the kind of sex that’s all gentle caresses and adoring touches and, though they do have a system for punishments and a measure of masochism and sadism present in their play because they are who they are, no one hurts unduly because Will would rather stab himself than cause Hannibal any actual distress when Hannibal lets himself become this needy, soft spoken thing that whimpers when praised and cries when made to come.
Years after the fall, Will and Hannibal have settled down, comfortable in their mundane, everyday routines, in their kink play and scenes, in the occasional disembowelment of bodies in the basement.
The safe familiarity of that gets shaken when Hannibal tips his toes into littlespace for the first time without Will there present with him, right after a hunt.

Y/N's vision was gradually diminishing and their lungs ached for the fresh feel of oxygen. They coughed harshly into their elbow, doubling over in pain. Their knees buckled beneath them as another round of coughing shook their already injured and oxygen starved body. Even through the smoke, Y/N could make out the angry red mark that was all the way down the front of his forearm but instead of pain, they felt what felt like static coursing through their arm. It was a weird sensation. The heat is hitting them now, and they can barely see a thing through their blurred vision. They can only see the flames at this point, but the voice was clearly Will's.
