Summary
“Everything needs to be perfect. I have to be perfect. You know I have to do well.” Rudolf spoke through gritted teeth, her eyes determined.
“You are perfect.” Sirius replied.
Rudolf hesitated, wide eyes sweeping over Sirius’s determined face. She bit her trembling lip, her eyes falling to the floor.
“No, I– I’m not. Not yet.” She murmured. “I’ll be a beacon- A symbol of hope. A role model.”
“You are a role model.” Sirius protested, her voice raising.
“No, I’m not. Everything has to be perfect. My races, my grades, my family, me– …and my relationships.”
“Your… relationships…?” Sirius repeated, blinking as the words fell off her tongue. Was Sirius dragging her down? No, she could do better. If it was to stay with Rudolf, she would do everything it takes.
She hardened her gaze. “What's wrong with me? I can do better.”
Rudolf sighed, not quite meeting Sirius’s determined energy. She glanced off to the side, tired, before she rubbed her eyes with her hands, as if the question had exhausted her. Finally, she looked back at Sirius, a forlorn look in her eyes.
“You’re a girl.” Rudolf choked, and Sirius felt a sinking, dreading feeling.

Summary
Years after they break up, Rudolf and Sirius are well and truly, absolutely over each other.
Sirius, for one, doesn't miss their relationship at all. Definitely. She's never pined over what they could've been, and she certainly isn't hurt about being dumped. And she definitely doesn't miss the girl Rudolf once was.
So on Valentine's day, when Rudolf invites Sirius to her dorm under the premise of 'official matters', Sirius doesn't think anything of it. Yet once she arrives, she learns that perhaps that Rudolf cares much more than she thought. Or at least, she cares enough to be wearing lingerie.
