My first foray into Vienna Blood.
The writers who have come before me in this fandom have done such beautiful work.
Here is my humble contribution.
I have taken various liberties with timelines and whatever else I felt like taking liberties with because fan fiction lets me do that. ❤️
*** And now it has become an ongoing series of short stories because I enjoy writing about them and the challenges of the time and place they must contend with.

I suspect that this is going to be a bit of a miniseries compared to my other stuff, which tends to be great, big sprawling collections of short stories that number in the hundreds. Lol.
I have no idea how many chapters will be in this or how long it's going to go on.
If no one on the planet Earth takes the slightest bit of interest in this particular effort, it will probably be fairly short. 😂
But I do expect I will finish it eventually.
I'm having a lot of fun with this and hopefully you will too.

I love the character of James Taylor and we know he eventually goes on to be with someone called Franklin.
*** Apparently I mcfucked up. In the book. It's somebody called Ian and in the TV show it's somebody called Richard. For some reason my brain decided the name was Franklin. So I guess it's Franklin now. At least in my au. Lol.My imagination filled in a lot from there.
I know what it's like to be a retired sex worker. I know what it's like to survive an abusive relationship. I know what it's like to be unable to process kindness. I know what it's like to find someone who wants to be good to you and have no idea how to cope with it. James Taylor and I have nothing in common and everything in common.
I think this series is a love letter to all the survivors out there.

I suspect this is going to be a slow burn with a lot of pining. We shall see. This is new territory for me. ❤️

Summary: This was inspired by Sister Agatha's comment on how Dracula became the most successful vampire by choosing his victims carefully, and by Dracula's remark about how most people were “without flavour”. I started to wonder who actually did taste good to him.

After defeating Thanos and putting the universe back into order, nothing was the same. The aftermath of those events took a toll on the whole world. Especially on the heroes who saved the day once again. Tony Stark seems to struggle the most, but maybe a new project and the help of Peter Parker could be the ray of hope needed to heal and finally win the battle over his darker side.
