He muted before the choking noise he had just made could be heard. Oh hell no. There was not the faintest doubt in his mind who the person on the other line was and he hated it.

He managed to open his phone again, finding that text still on his screen again. Biting down on his bottom lip to quiet his sobs he hit the call button.
Somehow this had to be a mistake. An incredibly cruel joke maybe. He wouldn't even be mad if it was, as long as Sirius was okay.
The phone rang out.
