Summary
Oscar, a rozer living in modern Teria, experiencing major persecution from the people living in his hometown fleas after finding new beginnings in the town of Daffodils. He believes he left his hometown of Lobas on his own but as he discovers his life to be buried under memory fog he wants to go back home. He encounters new enemies in Daffodils though, with one major event leading to his mission of going back home scrapped. As he's stuck in Daffodils, a man proposes Oscar helps him in tie up some loose ends of his own in exchange of keeping his secret of becoming a murderer. From that point on, his past and present become clearer, finding that there were far more interesting things in the future.

.I've never written on Ao3 and the idea of posting my original work on here didn't seem too outlandish. I'm mainly posting this just to see how it's received to people outside of my circle, if this even is seen by anyone. Summary
Grace wants Simon to swim in the ocean with him, but Simon is terrified of doing so. In an effort to get over his fear, the two of them work on easing him further and further into the water as the weeks pass by. Now, Simon is ready to make a big leap in his progress, and he needs Ryland to help him.

“Carl and I made a baby,” Grace says into the phone, his fingers clasped around a petri dish. He rotates it admiringly, and Carl watches from the other side of a plexiglas panel.
Carl and I made a baby.
Carl is vibrating with excitement, partially because this is the first major breakthrough they’ve had since Grace was roped into this mess a couple weeks back, and partially because there’s a specific kind of intimacy in hearing his name in Grace’s voice and watching his mouth move around the syllable.
Grace had said to him, not that much earlier, we’re fathers, and beamed at him with honest, unadulterated pride. And Carl had beamed back, because when you’re a multi-use security guard in charge of a disgraced molecular biologist, it’s not hard to get excited over these kinds of discoveries. They had shared in that pride, and truthfully, it had been innocent on Carl’s behalf until that phone call.

"We don't have to date." Carl states, in that professional tone he used when serious.or the one where Ryland and Carl fail at being friends with benefits.. even 30 years later when Grace returns to Earth and Carl still loves him.
