Summary

The mana organ in humans led to the growth of wings. Their size was proportional to the size of the mana organ and only those of sufficient mana quantity were actually able to fly with them. Those, who could not fly by the end of the Royal Academy could not stay in noble society, lest they brought the overall mana pool down.
Instead of mana sensing, a change in color of the wings from that of their birth season to their own occurred during puberty. Therefore, a suitable match was usually made just by comparing the size and color of their wings.
The growth of wings in children required tender and attentive care from their parents. That was why those with the Devouring often ended up with ingrown wings, masking them in commoner society.

Summary
Fifty-five-year-old Katsuki Yuuri was alone in the world after the deaths of his husband and their pseudo-son some twenty years before. He wouldn’t have made it much longer if he hadn’t felt called to enter a strange little eclectic shop in St. Petersburg. The owner offered him a choice he couldn’t refuse: go back in time to correct a wrinkle in fate that changed their destiny or go on living half a life.
He accepted her offer.
But that’s not quite what ended up happening. As a baby, Yuuri had bits and pieces of memories from the future to go off of, but he wasn’t an adult. Not really. Through his memories, he possessed enough knowledge to make fitting in with his peers difficult, but not enough maturity to liken his current self to his adult self. He was somewhere in the middle and fairly embarrassed about the whole ordeal because he knew he should feel like (and have the impulse control of) an adult. But he doesn’t, and he’s aware that he’s lacking.
Good thing he’s not trying to preserve the timeline...

Bonding with the Toruk had…side effects, Norm had told him once Spider came to ask, especially for Jake, who was in an Avatar body and lacked the experience in tsaheylu other Na’vi had. His mind was- well, not exactly weaker, but it was different. More open to influences once a bond was made. Influences that changed Jake, made him act different sometimes.
OR
After connecting to Toruk in the first movie, Jake ended up with some of his characteristics. Mainly manifesting in bursts of "moods" in which Jake reverts to more primal, animalistic instincts causing him to mostly want to stay home and cuddle his family.
Spider learns the hard way that he, too, is a Sully.

He tries to stay out of the Metkayina people’s way. It had taken Neytiri years to warm up to him, and while she’d finally accepted and seen him, it had taken her his whole life. There was next to no hope of the Metkayina accepting him. But the Sully’s start acting strange, and so do the Metkayina people. They’re all watching out for him, helping him… looking after him.

Horror strikes him down where he stands, then. He sways, stumbles to put his back to the living room wall. Harry is woozy in disbelief, watching the two words slashed into his chest in livid red just like the scar on his forehead. ‘AVADA KEDAVRA.’
He knows those words, the first he can remember, his earliest memory. It feels like he hasn’t breathed in minutes. When he comes back to the moment, he finds that perhaps he hasn’t. If there was one thing Tony Stark hated, it was seeing something broken but being unable to fix it. It was the closest thing to OCD he had. Just staring at something broken made his fingers twitch for a tool and his mind whirl with possibilities to fix it, to make it better. Honestly, it was annoying sometimes, the longest he had ever held out on trying to fix something was a day and by the time he had started his hands were shaking and he was sweating like a sinner in church. It was ridiculous.
It also didn't stop at inanimate objects.
