I love it. I love Miles internal monologue throughout the fic. Some angsty but what I remember is him being funny a lot of times. Larry is good here for many reasons. All the characters how all the roles fit. The never ending judgment on Miles home is gold and how he gets his revenge on his sister

Decided to bookmark this because I realise it is one of my favorite fics. Amnesianic Phoenix turned von karma where Wright was dead but not dead. Very good on so many levels. I think I loved this for the sheer insanity Phoenix causes Edgeworth. The turning point as to why I reread this is due to how Phoenix handles a unwinneable case as a prosecutor to a win.

He did try to calm down- falling back to his typical method when overwhelmed, planning until he had a ten-bullet list of contingencies, and something at some point would work. He simply needed to be logical.

Summary
Most of Miles' decisions were well-thought out. They made sense. They were logical. Safe. The decision to stay in Phoenix's guest room while he worked on his dissertation, however, had been made entirely on a whim-- and no matter how he tried to keep it all together, it was going to drag him as far from his comfort zone as he'd ever been, whether he liked it or not.
Phoenix had been in love with Miles Edgeworth for years; what they had now was perfect, though, and he would never dream of asking for anything else. Even so, inviting the man into his home for an unknown period of time was bound to unearth some truths... could it really be that they were more on the same page than he'd ever thought possible?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it turns out to be impossible for a disgraced and single ex-attorney to get approved to adopt a child he only met two weeks ago. He's not sure why he thought that would work.
A couple might have a chance, though. Especially if half of the couple is a prosecutor with good standing and deep pockets. Isn't that what friendship is all about? Getting (platonically) legally married, moving in together, co-adopting an eight-year-old, and keeping it all a secret?

The bookstore at the corner of 14th and Fen is known for many things. It’s known, firstly, for the books, which makes a certain amount of sense for a bookstore, if you think about it. The place is positively crammed with books, from floor to ceiling, filling shelves and sitting in neat piles in all the nooks and crannies. Books, books, books: books so old they’re practically falling apart, with dog-eared pages and notes scribbled in the margins, and books that are brand new, the covers shiny, the paper white, and the spines barely creased. There are so many books filling the shelves of the Corner Bookstore that the entire place smells of paper and ink, of stories, the way a bookstore should.
This is a story about an introverted bookstore owner meeting the artist who works at the flower shop across the street (and his magician daughter). This is a story about books, plants, awkward conversations and quiet friendships, a story about a stray cat, finding your people, and slowly, slowly, falling in love.

Cutest book and flower au. Everyone loves Artist Phoenix. Trucy is ever more precious here. Miles will helplessly sink into the Wrights and Feys. Also you have Trucy and Kay together which is the favorite mess of kids for their parents or guardians. And I always vote for FranMaya and the fact shock it causes.
