"Why is Oscar Piastri, Formula 1 driver, flirting with my husband via interview?" Shane complains towards the TV, his lower lip curling down in displeasure. "My married husband, by the way."
"Green looks good on you, Hollander!" JJ jeers from his spot on Yuna's couch, dark eyes sparkling with mirth.
"Oscar is just his type though," Carter says thoughtfully, his eyes locked on the screen, interest bleeding across his expression.
Shane's gaze swivels to death stare Carter, expecting to see some of the trepidation that the same look extracts from Carter on ice, but all Shane gets in return is a laugh.
"We're not on ice, Hollzy, that look doesn't work on me off ice," Carter says, ruffling Shane's hair fondly. "But how are you not seeing this, man? Just watch, okay,"
Shane takes a swig of his beer, and yes, he needs alcohol for this- the usual ginger ale isn't going to save him this time. Then he turns his attention back to the screen.
