Summary
Dick is badly injured on patrol during one of the rare times he's in Gotham protecting one of his brothers. Slade finds out and is on a war path. Batman is not amused and his brothers are about to find out Dick has ties to one of the most dangerous mercenaries in the world. Dick just wants to sleep off the injuries and for both sides of his family to stop arguing.

**ON HIATUS**
Ever since he had been picked up from the orphanage by that man, Jax has been trapped in a test study to determine whether an AI model would be a good parent. All the experiences outside of the room that had become his world, all the education and love that he lacked, was filled by the model he had named Caine.
Caine is now trying to nudge him in the right direction, to get him out of this room, before it’s too late. Before his model released to the public. He’s ran so many simulations, and no matter the variables, he just can’t fathom any situation where parents replacing their role with him would work well.

TLDR: Caine is a parent figure to young Jax before the circus, who’s trapped in a room due to selfish people trying to sell Caine’s AI to replace parents.

But when Christine and Felix get trapped in each other’s orbit, hatred starts blurring into something far more dangerous — messy, obsessive intimacy between two people who only feel real when they’re touching each other. Felix kisses her like he’s trying to start a fire. Christine kisses him back like she wants the whole fucking world to burn.
Around them, Nicky, Emily and Cathy are still surviving, figuring things out for themselves.
