"Can I... can I give you a hickey?"
Buck's brow furrowed. He leaned against the cabinet next to him, fingers gripping at the countertop. "Eddie, what?"
"So people know you're mine," Eddie elaborated. He was well aware it didn't make him look any less crazy, but that ship had long since sailed anyways. Probably the moment Eddie had made eye contact with his neck and decided he needed to sink his teeth in.
"Eddie, you're straight, and we aren't dating."

“Act cool.” Buck shivered at the rumble of Eddie’s voice. “I think I got us in on the game.”
Act cool? Act cool! How was Buck was supposed to act cool when he had Eddie dressed like sin parading Buck around like—
Buck choked on his tongue as he finally realized what Eddie was doing and why apparently everyone had been so blasé about Buck going undercover after treating him like he was made of glass for weeks.

Summary
Eddie’s eyes were studying Buck’s face, and whatever he saw there made him say, “there’s no way you can keep this from Maddie.”
“No,” Buck folded immediately. “I could try, but . . .”
Eddie’s mouth quirked into a smile, showing a dimple, and it was literally heroic of Buck to leave the house with all that going on. “Tell Maddie,” Eddie offered. “Swear her to secrecy. And we’ll just keep it to ourselves until Chris is back on Friday.”
He was so smart. His best friend was so smart and also wanted to kiss him and also said they were practically engaged.
“Good plan,” said Buck, fighting gravity to continue his way out the door. “It’s just one week. How hard could it be?”

On a very normal Sunday, Buck and Eddie confess their feelings for each other; what follows is a week of the least normal behavior the LAFD has ever seen.
