Summary
Marc Marquez may be the most hexed rider of all time.
That's what Vale thinks, anyway. It was him who was all but coated in the little pieces of magic, harmless as those ones may have been, in the early parts of his career. It was him who was hit by that vicious one in 2020, the one that led to the current regulations and protections in place.
So when Luca tells Vale that Marc has been hexed once more, he really isn't too worried. Even when he hears how bad this one is, leagues worse than the one from 2020. He has no intention of going near Marc anyway, and he doesn't even tolerate the man, so really he doesn't care. It has nothing to do with him.
Right?

“You need to marry me”
There is a beat of silence, the ones where you can hear the faint sound of crickets in the background. Nico stands on the door of his flat, a mug in one hand and a look on his face that probably means he is either making a very unflattering estimation of how many brain cells Lewis has left or seriously questioning the entirety of his English comprehension skills.
“Pardon?”
“You need to marry me” - Lewis repeats.
Nico nods slowly, takes a sip of his coffee and slams the door in Lewis’ face. -

Summary
The gift did not have a note.
Much to the contrary, whoever had sent it to Kimi was determined in their commitment to anonymity, as even the tag was written in such a way that masked the other’s handwriting.
An effective trick, Kimi recognized, as he read the inscription—clearly written using someone’s non-dominant hand.
For a split second, his attention shifted to the sky-blue ribbon that neatly closed the box, suddenly aware of how the delicate fabric was impregnated with his secret admirer’s scent.
or;
Kimi has never been courted on before, but that’s about to change as a white box decorated with only a baby blue ribbon magically appears on his desk without a name attached to it.
