(spoiler: vox keeps yapping, alastor tells him to stfu, he doesnt (absolutely no surprise there), and kisses him on the cheek for him to shut up. He does.)

Summary
Vox panted heavily, slapping away a branch from in front of his face as he ran. He didn't dare look over his shoulder. It would only slow him down, and he couldn't afford to lose any ground he had ahead of the demon chasing him. He was being hunted through unfamiliar territory, heart pumping, legs cramping from how hard he'd been working them without any sort of break. Taking a massive risk, he ducked and plastered himself against the rough bark of a tree and caught his breath for just a moment. He leaned his head back against the tree, panting and gasping, trying to listen for any sign he had been found.
Vox gets himself chased and caught by Alastor in his full demonic form. Sure, he asked for this, but it quickly becomes much more intense than he was expecting...

Wind Archer lives in his mother’s paradise with his adopted siblings, under the watchful eyes of Millennial Tree. As the only witch of the family, he has natural guards up to protect his home and family. However, that doesn’t mean that benevolent and helpful spirits cannot enter. He’s met plenty of them in fact: the Thunderbird, a Selkie Sea Witch, a Cosmic Witch, and a Winter Witch. He knows there are malicious spirits out there, though, hence the precautions.
So, just how did this vampire get in here?
Fire Spirit, a vampire-phoenix hybrid, was just flying by, enjoying the sun as he most often does. Pitaya said to be careful, as most do not appreciate his vampiric nature, but who cares? His natural charm gets him out of most situations he winds up in anyway. He’ll be fine. That being said, it’s been a while since he’s eaten. He’s going to need to eat soon. As he’s debating what he even wants to eat, he catches the scent of raw rabbit on the wind. Actually, that sounds pretty appealing to him, easily skinnable if needed, and he can cook it to his taste with his flames. With that in mind, he descends into the paradise below him.
If only he hadn't missed the trap that was set.

I care about him enough to hate. But now? Now he doesn’t hate me. He won’t bother me. He doesn’t care enough! But I still hate him. I still care about him enough to hate. Where does that leave me? What am I now? He calls me Mister! Not my name, not my nickname, fucking Mister like I am someone who he stumble upon on his morning walk!

"Of all the places," Alastor mutters through gritted teeth.
He is not sentimental. He has never been. Nostalgia is a weakness reserved for lesser minds, for those who believe the past holds them rather than the other way around.
Yet, his smile tightens.
Annoyance flares honed and immediate, curling hot in his chest. Vox's face rises uninvited in his mind. Grinning screen, static laughter, hands too careful, attention too constant. The memory of wires and strings follows close behind, of being maneuvered, shocked and jerked around, in a way he hadn't agreed on.
Infuriating.
And it's outrageously uncomfortable too, the sudden awareness of something old stirring where it should have stayed buried.
Or: Alastor is free, Vox is angry, humiliated, and somehow still breathing. They are, apparently, done with each other for good, but a bar, a piano, and far too much history stand in the way. The past, unfortunately, still has excellent timing.

Summary
Alastor has grown a soft spot for a certain TV-headed demon. Whether he is willing to admit it or not, he is catching feelings for his fellow Overlord. Is he planning on acting on these emotions? Of course not! That would be the healthy thing to do, and everyone knows that Alastor is allergic to proper communication!
Instead, he keeps the itsy-bitsy, tiny crush on the down low. Until that faithful night at the bar, when his entire perception of who Vox is shatters into a million little pieces.
Friendship turns to rivalry in the blink of an eye, and 70 years later, Alastor and Vox are still at each other's throats. But in the aftermath of Vox's failed takeover of Heaven, Alastor is left to reflect on whether or not Vox was truly the one who ruined it all.

Opening up the computer to see his AI with a body and practically a personality was nothing he expected. And, suddenly, he's so glad he stayed late to experience this. His curiosity is bursting now.
