    Izuku was clueless about abnormalities around him and grew up believing he was quirkless. After a long, emotional day he comes to discover his quirk. He's behind everyone else so he starts to find ways to train himself and his quirk. Meeting new people, learning new skills Izuku begins to learn how to control his quirk.

    TLDR: Basically, Izuku has elemental manipulation of the four elements. He wasn't spatially aware as he grew up thus didn't realize it before. Avatar characters will appear slowly but surely. Tags added as story goes.

    My friend challenged me to not say the word “bending” since I got the story idea from ATLA

    Guilt festers and bubbles like black tar in Zuko’s chest. “I didn’t just speak. I questioned and insulted one of his highest-ranking generals—but the man was planning a massacre! He shouldn’t have—” Zuko clamps his mouth shut, his teeth clicking together, and swallows thickly. “I mean. I found the tactic he proposed very startling, but it wasn’t my place to question such things. I’m sure he had his reasons.”

    “Tui and La what the absolute fuck,” Sokka whispers.

    [Zuko gets imprisoned with Sokka and Katara during the winter solstice, and some very unfortunate things come to light. Alternatively: the gaang kidnaps adopts Zuko in book one after discovering just how awful his father is.]

    Izuku was born with a rare kind of soulmate - the familial kind. He had a soul companion, a large black jaguar named Rin, that kept him company in the absence of his true soulmate.

    Shouta was 14 when a green baby bunny appeared in his lap and was suddenly made aware of the fact that his soulmate was just born ...He was way too tired for this.

    (AKA Izuku is Shouta's soul-child and Shouta is Izuku's soul-parent. I am going to hurt Izuku in this because I love that sweet sweet hurt/comfort)

    Instead, she got wrapped up in an all-out game of hide-and-seek between four of the most well-trained vigilantes in the world. Involving Home Alone-esque traps, crushed forklifts, a surprising amount of shoplifting considering they're the good guys, and the beginnings of an epic bond with a smirking, laser wielding, maniac.

    Not that she knew that at the time. All she saw was a cute guy hiding behind a desk, and the rest was history.
