Summary
You know, it was fun and all to fantasize about having all these cool powers, especially when you have this paired with being in the world of your favorite, or any, media franchise. I loved fantasizing about being in an anime, a video game, or a movie, and having the power to change the narrative as I wish. Ah, to have simple pleasures.
Of course, that's why they call it a "Fantasy". Because in reality, things are much, much more difficult than simply imagining things to go your way. Really, if I had the chance to choose a fantasy of mine to live in, I would have chosen a simpler one.

Floating in front of me was a holographic screen, something you would only see in Isekai animes and the like. Years of constantly having to be on my toes, I was wary of it, maybe even thinking it was a simply hallucination, but eventually, curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.

In the future, Villains have won. Shigaraki Tomura, has won. The Heroes, military, rebels and civilians had done a brave front over and over again over the past years, but in the end, no one was able to defeat the Symbol of Evil. Not the Symbol of Peace, and not the Symbol of Hope. However, all is not lost. In a last ditch attempt, the remaining Heroes of Class 1-A made a daring act, send someone back in time using Eri's quirk enhanced with Trigger. It was supposed to be Izuku, but due to unforeseen circumstances, someone else was sent in time.
Yaoyorozu Yuriko was four when she started to get nightmares, so realistic it was maddening. As years pass, they become worse, repeating and escalating. She didn't know why, but these nightmares meant something. Something important. And she'll find out why, why it made her think so, why it made her feel the need to become stronger, to make a change no Hero was willing to make.

College life was...tolerable. The teachers were chill, my classmates were fine, my course didn't have math or science in it, and I get to learn more about my dream job.
But, like always, shit just had to happen. I thought that it was just an extremely elaborate lucid dream, you know. A floating city, people with powers, having my own power, and Valorant of all things being involved. However, as days pass, I keep on having the same-not same dream. I was in the same dream, but I continue where I "left off". It was really weird, but I just made the best out of my "lucid dream"....
Then, I go back to another dream, but this time, I was tied and facing Brimstone with an aching feeling of pain.

Being Reincarnated was, surprising. I have had my own set of fantasies of the genre, even made fanfics with it, but being reincarnated myself? Yeah, I never would have expected that. Moreso would I be reincarnated to the world of Highschool DxD and be given The Gamer ability. However, despite this, I would really like to stay away from Devils, Angels, a Dragon God, and plot in general, but all of that went down the drain when I opened my stats.

Reincarnation fics and fantasies weren't as good as it was advertised. There was a reason why souls were scrubbed clean of their previous life for them to live their new wones. I don't know why exactly, but there was a reason for it nonetheless.
