Mumbo dropped the strand and made eye contact with Scar in the mirror. He sighed. “Just fix it… please.”
“Next time, you should try and mimic my hair style!”
Mumbo squinted at him. “What are you talking about?”
Scar squinted at Mumbo, signature smirk tightening. “Your new waffle? Quite the stateme-“
“My WHAT?!”

The robot stood there, blinking around the cell it was in as Garmadon watched from the shadows. Samukai had wanted to tear it to pieces and strip it for parts, but Garmadon had shot that idea down instantly. That mechanic claimed this robot as his ‘son’ and was willing to do anything for it to survive. That was what fathers did. Garmadon knew that well. Who was to say if the mechanic would keep working without proof that the robot was in one piece? If he was as smart as Samukai claimed, then he would ask for proof of ‘life’, if a robot was capable of such a thing.
He watched as the robot stared at its own hands like it had never seen such a thing. Maybe it hadn’t. Maybe the skin was new.
The robot’s eyes landed on Garmadon and widened. The two stared at each other for a few seconds, the silence of the room deafening. Garmadon blinked and watched as the robot copied it. Slow and hesitant, but it still managed to copy the blink. Garmadon watched as it kept copying his blinks and lifted his left hand. The robot copied the motion, all the way down to the wave Garmadon decided on.
Garmadon was going to regret this, wasn’t he?

"It can't end like this!" Validar proclaimed to his own traitorous flesh. "I won't allow it."
"You always have been stubborn, haven't you?"
His raspy breaths stuttered to a stop in his torn chest. That voice was one he spoke to nearly daily, the words from the throat treasured for what they would become. He knew his daughter far more intimately than he knew himself, his devotion to bringing about the resurrection of the Fell Dragon his only devotion.
"Hello, Father."
But the snarl that accompanied the words, the way the question delved into a roughness those of humanity could not possess; Validar knew he was not talking to his daughter.
"You're-" he coughed on blood that should not occupy his trembling lungs.
"This is not how it happened." The Fell Dragon's hand smudged the blood across Validar's lips. "Lucina is such a clever little girl."
Robin is the Hierophant of the Grimleal, the future Vessel of Grima, the Fell Dragon. Her life has never been her own. The amnesiac she found in a desert seems to disagree.

The position of ‘Ringmaster’s favorite’ is clearly one that comes with a lot of power.
It’s just really unfortunate for the others that that power is in the hands of the worst person possible.
The only saving grace being that Jax actually has no idea he’s Caine’s favorite in the first place.
