Summary
When Azula is nine, she becomes an only child. She hears the Fire Lord call for Zuko's life, and in the morning, her mother and brother are gone. Azula may be young, but she isn't naive. She knows what happened to them.
Which makes it all the more surprising when Azula tracks the Avatar down and fights his group of peasant friends, only to find herself staring into an eerily familiar face.

Summary
He used to be an average brainrotted zoomer, that lived a mediocre life and suffered a mediocre death. Used to be is the prime word here. His new name is Hephaestus, born a runt at the beginning of the world's history to two Gods infamous for being terrible parents.
Hephaestus was never a fan of Greek mythology. He could barely remember the most famous stories, and he had no clue if they even followed a set timeline. All he knew was that he was the God of Fire and Crafting, and he was better off by himself than anywhere near the rest of Olympus.
But one thing the myths tend to gloss over is just how empty the world is. There are no other pantheons. There are no other origins. Hephaestus was born at the beginning of history, and is is a terribly lonely world out there.
Thank God he was an introvert his first life and enjoyed the isolation. Too bad the rest of the pantheon doesn't seem to understand that.
