"Kenma, over the course of the first night, had managed to formulate a picture of what a ‘perfect Kuroo Tetsurou soulmate’ would ideally be and it’s not a boy he barely knows who plays soccer. Rather, it’s someone that understands Kuroo, knows him inside and out, knows how he speaks, what makes him happy, what makes him sad, what his favorite color is, that he’s afraid of insects, that he loves horror movies and is mediocre at video games yet he watches horror movies and plays video games, that he thinks dolphins are the best thing nature has to offer and big cats are extremely cool, that he loves salty food and thinks orcas are the devil. Among other trivial things anyone should know about a man they claim is their soulmate.
The second realization, was that the only person who does know these things, is in fact, non-other than Kenma himself."
