Scott has made it out of Oakhurst with the promise to be a better person, but Avid is still gone. Now he's learning about the new world and how much it has changed, while also dealing with a new world of his own-emotions. Scott now has to learn how to deal with the past rather than forgetting about it; however, this requires him to address his past before Oakhurst and uncover the reasons he became cruel to begin with.
Tldr, Scott is adjusting to the modern day. Scott also has trauma, everyone else has trauma, and we get to witness them move through it all
Scott centric, but the pov will switch. Tags will be added as they become relevant.
