Summary
In that moment Wemmbu feels truly alone. He wonders again what that genuine warmth is like, what it feels like to be held by someone just like you, someone who could understand you in a way that no one else could. He wonders if he ever had someone like that, a mother or a father, a person who was a half of him, who could understand his turmoil and struggles, or if, just like his memories, he just.. began existing. Began existing with nobody there waiting for him, no one to celebrate his arrival.
The sun wasn't the only cruel thing, Wemmbu decided. Life was also cruel, equally as unforgiving, and he wonders why he began to live in the first place.

Wemmbu becomes the adopted younger brother of Manepear and Flamefrags, fluff and angst happens.

Summary
Boomie shifted himself into a ready stance, summoning his axe in his left arm before preparing to charge in for the kill. He had everything planned out - he'd block the other man from dodging and simultaneously stop his momentum with his right arm against the wall, and he'd angle his axe with his left hand in just the right way to get the easiest cleave straight through Flame's chest.
It was a perfect plan. With what little time Flame had left, there was nothing the man could do to stop it. He'd accounted for every possibility he knew of.
Every possibility... except for one.
(aka enemies who fight and do nothing else that would imply anything at all between them in canon except i, a neurodivergent, have forced them to be domestic together and wallow in their longing for simpler solutions instead)

Summary
Wemmbu had been trying to ignore it for a while now. Since Mane left, maybe even before that. He knew something was wrong, but it wasn’t anything serious. Headaches, spots in his vision, occasional waves of dizziness. It might have started all the way back in Zam’s Empire.
He feels better when others are around. With Egg finally out of the End and the two of them practically glued at the hip as they try to stay under the radar of the Law, Wemmbu is relieved to find that his symptoms calm down slightly. Not enough, but he no longer worries that he might pass out in the middle of a fight anymore.
tldr: wemmbu gets sick when he isolates from people he cares about. now with the war against the law reaching a boiling point, wemmbu is being surrounded by people he cant help but to care about. with the battle against law only weeks away and wemmbu getting sicker each passing day, he doesnt know how much longer he can hide his greatest secret. and everyone is getting concerned asf while he convinces himself they all hate him.
