Summary
As if reading his thoughts Sherlock snarls at him, “Let it go, Mycroft. I mean it. Bugger off and stay far away from me. It shouldn’t be hard for you, you’re used to it.” Mycroft jolts as Sherlock shoves past him hard and goes back to take his seat at the table. When Mycroft returns his parents are cooly ignoring both each other and their sons. He looks down at his plate and finds his appetite has vanished. He takes a sip of wine. Sherlock rises up for the last time that evening, makes a show of dumping the rest of his plate into the bin, then storms off leaving Mycroft with just his parents.
He takes another sip of wine. He was suddenly missing University.

This is my imaging of how the Holmes brothers grew up and how they both ended up having very different outlooks on their childhoods and the people involved in it.
This is basically just me writing down a story I can't get to leave my head. I don't know when I will update or where this is going. I am genuinely curious what other people think of this writing style.
Also, this is going to get dark. The childhood I imagine isn't a pretty one.

Summary
They had both lost the man they loved three months ago. They may not have loved him in the same way but he did love Sherlock. Sherlock was the best friend he’d ever had. Some days he felt like he couldn’t even breathe without Sherlock, like his lungs just didn’t want to expand and contract to give him oxygen anymore. It was like he was unconsciously trying to follow after Sherlock. That is, when he wasn’t doing it consciously.
It’s been three months since Sherlock jumped and John isn’t coping.

All of a sudden he was tossed to the ground and his head hit the wet cement floor with a sickening thud that made his body go slack for a moment.
“Well, hello there! Nice to see you Sherlock! I was hoping you’d decide to pop in and say hi to your good old friend Jim.” his body tensed and suddenly all the smugness left his body at the sound of that familiar mocking tone.

Hey, I'm Dan, and right now I am sitting in the police station waiting to get chewed out by a cop. Who's also my mom by the way. Yeah, aren't I lucky?
I only spray painted a wall for God's sake! What's the big deal? I mean yeah, it is the seventh time in eight months it's happened, but I just don't see what the big deal is.
I never thought that she would actually punish me for it though, even though her asshole boyfriend (who's also a cop) would love nothing more then to see me shipped off to some boarding school somewhere. But whaddya know? It looks like he got his wish after all, because in two days I, Dan Howell, will be entering Newcott Academy, an all boys boarding school.

“I'm still surprised you want this? And the guys.” He gently kicks his shoes towards the white wall. Lestrade rolls his eyes affably, smirks again.
