    He had dreams of this moment. Involuntary fantasies about him and Bruce being this close, so close you couldn't see whose limbs belonged to who, close enough for their heartbeats to melt into an indistinguishable sound. The only real evidence of them was Clark's ruined underwear the next morning.

    Clark never allowed himself to think of it freely. He never thought this was a possibility — he tried not to disrespect his closest friend with fake recreations of gasps, or whimpers in his mind. Never imagined the expand of his skin beyond what Bruce allowed him to see.

    It was now displayed for him, only him. Clark would sell his soul to be the last one who got to see Bruce like this.
