Whatever happened here was bad. Irrevocably, inexplicably, inarticulably bad in a way that the most basal parts of his being wants nothing more than to escape from. But Grace can't turn away.
After encountering what appears to be a last hoo-ra emergency mission attempt from Earth caught up in the Hail Mary's wake, Grace and Rocky discover a single, severely injured human being quite literally encased in what Grace can only describe as a crime scene. A horror movie. And when he wakes up? He's mad. Really mad. Talking to the walls mad. Now they have to figure out just where he came from and why. Things are further complicated when all the newcomer (Simon, they learn) can talk about is missing planets, haunted oceans, and non-existent space stations. That and the really weird data they've been picking up on.
Maybe part of solving that is, much to Rocky's enthusiasm; both Grace and Simon slowly realizing how lonely they are.Series

Friday doesn’t start any differently from most Fridays. It’s six-thirty in the morning, the sun is rising crisp, clear, and burning over the mountains that climb above the cul-de-sac far in the distance, and the sprinklers are stuttering and shushing outside on their first run of the day. The coffee is rich and not too bitter. The newspaper was delivered on time. Everything is more-or-less sublime.
The only thing that differentiates it is how early the milk arrives.

Possess him? Crowley frowns and asks, “You think so?”
Aziraphale nods, eyes wide. The visual alone has instantly vaporized any alcohol content in his body.
“I—well.” Crowley considers it, then winces. “I haven’t actually poked inside someone since… oh, gotta be 71, I think. Antoine Gay. Bollocksed that one up.”
Aziraphale blinks, taken aback. In his (admittedly frequent) imaginings of Crowley in bed, he never envisioned him as the ‘poker’, necessarily. He seemed like he’d much rather enjoy getting poked instead. Repeatedly. Passionately. Perhaps up against an opulent pillar.
