She’s looking at him like he’s stupid, which is fair. “Link,” Zelda says again, and she’s touching his chest - no, touching his jacket, which has three large bloody holes that will make getting a ride back to camp absolute hell. “You were - are you -”

Summary
Oh, how long ago had she thought Link's silence was evidence of his disdain for her? That he thought he was so above Zelda, and the others in her circle, because he would refuse to speak to them at all? And she had treated him so poorly as such. It was quite a miracle they had become friends at all. And here she was, he as her last resort.
“So I ask of you—” Zelda trembled, “I beg— that you might consider, as my friend, marriage to me. In order to save me.”

Summary
I love the Regency Romance genre, and especially love Georgette Heyer novels. I was kind of surprised I didn’t see any other zelink Regency AUs because the story certainly lends itself to the genre. Well, be the change you want to see and all that. This story is mostly a Heyer-inspired series of tropes all strung together. Don’t overthink anything I came up with, I went with a lot of semi-plausible stuff that served the story I wanted to tell. It’s also not gonna be historically accurate so don’t expect that either, this is Hyrule, not England, and I can do what I want.

Summary
After the events of Tears of the Kingdom, Link and Zelda fell into a rhythm with each other as they reacquainted Zelda with the new-new Hyrule and offered the chance for many to welcome the queen home. No one was surprised when Hyrule’s most powerful couple announced they were expecting a little one.
Armed with a strict list of foods and approved activities from Impa, Zelda and Link continued their travels when Zelda’s time powers began acting up. Purah was sure it had something to do with the pregnancy, but the baffling results left Zelda bouncing around her timeline. As her due date approached, the jumps became more erratic and nearly so commonplace that Link hardly blinked when she looked up, confused from the breakfast table, and he calmly asked where she was from. Most times, she barely had enough seconds to ponder and say, “A week ago, I think,” before she was snatched back through time.
This time, however, as Link and Zelda prepare for the arrival of their little one, the queen is sent back to pre-calamity Hyrule, propelling a young princess one hundred and eleven years into the future and into the arms of a familiar knight.

Summary
“You would choose me?” he asked softly.
“Yes. Not the Hero, but you, Link. Could you choose me, too?”
He started to nod, then put his voice behind it. “Yes.”
She looked at him, and he looked back, and she couldn’t shake the feeling that something momentous was taking place. The girl with the Goddess blood and the boy with the spirit of the Hero, bound together by fate to fight a war they never wanted a part in. To fight a war that began millennia ago, to protect a world that should have been protecting them. Having no choice, but making one anyway.

Summary
The sky begins to darken into a cornflower blue that would cost no less than an arm and leg at the Kochi Dye Shop, throwing cream colored snow into stark relief. His Princess turned Priestess steps out of Link’s arms just as the first few hints of lavender begin to bleed up from the horizon, he aches with the distance immediately.
“I suppose,” Zelda’s voice is impossibly soft, thin in a way he’s come to know means she’s close to tears, “it’s time for me to begin.”
The Crown Princess of Hyrule inhales slowly through her nose when her feet first touch sacred water. Bare fingers twitch almost imperceptibly against his palm before pulling away, and Link watches with his heart in his mouth as Zelda smoothly steps down into the spring.
