Summary
Matthew was sick of living in Alfred's shadow, his own twin brother who would forget he existed in a heartbeat. Matthew's whole life had been spent tucked away behind his warmly beloved brother, soaking up all the warmth so Matthew was left with nothing but bone-deep cold. No matter how hard he tried, he was never enough and never measured up. A lifetime of neglect had taken its toll and left him empty and bitter. When a child is abandoned by a village, he will burn it down just to feel the warmth. He knew it was wrong, but it felt so so good to chase the warmth. Once he started he couldn't stop. He was spiraling into chaos and with each escalation, he couldn't help but feel comfort in the terror he brought.
Or, Matthew unintentionally intentionally becomes a prolific serial killer, unintentionally intentionally disrupting the life of his twin brother and all his friends as he starts on a path of destruction.

Summary
Itoshi Rin had spent years perfecting the art of keeping people at arm's length. Shidou Ryuusei had spent just as long doing the exact opposite. They had always existed within the same orbit—never too close, never too far. Rin, the ever-responsible student council president, carried the weight of expectations without complaint, while Shidou, with his charming and carefree nature, has always been popular.
Then an elective class put them in the same row. Shidou talked. Rin tolerated him. Barely. Somehow, that only seemed to encourage Shidou even more.
After class, as students streamed into the hallway, Shidou glanced at Rin as casually as if he were asking to borrow a pen.
"Go out with me."
Rin stopped walking.
"What?"
"My ex won't take the hint," Shidou said with an easy shrug. "Fake-date me for a month."
It was, without question, the dumbest proposal Rin had ever heard. Ridiculous, even. But for some reason—

If you were to ask one Ace Trappola how he’d describe Deuce Spade, he would probably answer you: stupid.
Now, is this Ace’s actual genuine view of Deuce? … I mean, yeah, a little bit. However! It is also at least partially just for the bit, can’t let anyone see him caring for one of his best friends after all, that would be totally lame.
But, if you were able to peel away his outer layers of cool guy persona to dive deep into the very depths of his soul, you would probably get a different, much more honest answer. That answer being: cute.
