Dabi looks at Hawks batting his lashes, sitting on the couch in his hideous Gucci sweater. Christ, Dabi can’t stop looking at it. It’s a point of public safety that Hawks has a stylist for when he actually needs to leave the house. That sweater could cause car crashes. “I guarantee that won’t be an issue.”
Hawks needs to come out, Dabi needs to promote his debut album, and they make an awful mess of this fake relationship thing.

For some reason, getting involved in life and death scenarios makes it easy for romantic feelings to show up. Terrible, really.
(Soonyoung’s past catches up to him, and he somehow gets his best friend roped into it. Having the constant fear of losing the most important person to him sparks feelings, unsurprisingly.)
Or : Two best friends run for their lives, reenact the plot of a stupid thriller movie, and fall in love somewhere along the way. Everything is fine.

Joshua looked vaguely horrified. “You need therapy.”
Seokmin pointed at Mingyu. “You need a priest.”
“holy water and a taser,” Joshua added, and Seokmin agreed.

Summary
Seungkwan's mouth twists into a knowing smile that Jihoon feels like he should be scared of.
“Kim Mingyu, 23 years old, best player in his university’s tennis team and currently lying in surgery with multiple shattered bones in his arm and a couple of fractured ribs. Snowboard accident.”
“I- I didn’t ask…?” Jihoon blinks up at him.
“Oh, come on, I know you wanted to. It was written all over your face the entire time – it was kind of embarrassing actually. Be glad he was too busy freaking out to notice you ogling him.” Seungkwan grins, and Jihoon knew that he should’ve been scared, that smile earlier was practically screaming scheming face.
“I wasn’t-” Jihoon splutters, feeling his face grow warm. “Oh my god, Seungkwan, please don’t ever say ogling again, I’m gonna throw up."
Jihoon wakes up from a coma in the hospital - alone, scared, and feeling like his future collapsed on him when he crashed his car that night. As he tries to desperately cling onto his old self, fearing that this, too, is slipping away from him, Mingyu gets wheeled into his room - loud, kind, and maybe, equally as hurt.

Summary
The first person Jihoon kills is the music teacher who tells him that he’ll never make it as a clarinetist because he’s too small. Then it’s another Pledis trainee who gets in his way. After he becomes Woozi, he mostly kills random hookups when he’s on tour, all of them carefully staged to cover his tracks. Jihoon becomes good at it: singing, and killing, and not being caught.
So murdering three strangers while on a forced hiatus home in Busan is not part of the plan.
And neither is Soonyoung, the man-eating merfolk who insists that because Jihoon dumped bodies into Soonyoung’s ocean, Jihoon and Soonyoung are now married in the eyes of the sea.
